He is the co-founder and president of the SERRA DAS ANDORINHAS FOUNDATION PARA BRAZIL, which has already saved some 175'000 acres of rain forest from destruction. The foundation is privately funded and spends the donations it receives on re-forestation and environmental education programmes in Brazil.
