He is the co-founder and president of the SERRA DAS ANDORINHAS FOUNDATION PARA BRAZIL, which has already saved some 175'000 acres of rain forest from destruction. The foundation is privately funded and spends the donations it receives on re-forestation and environmental education programmes in Brazil. Part of the proceeds from the sale of this motor car have been bequeathed by the vendor to the foundation, thus ensuring the proper funding of its work for several more years to come.
